DAYNA MANNING

Dayna Manning is a JUNO Award–nominated, award-winning Canadian folk artist who has been bringing Canadian stories to life through song for over 25 years. A masterful storyteller, she weaves local history, landscapes, and personalities into her music—from tributes to The Band’s Richard Manuel and Father Goose Bill Lishman to her beloved ode to the snow day, O Snow.

Dayna’s career includes four solo albums and three releases with the acclaimed folk trio Trent Severn. She has one of the most popular songs on the original Lilith Fair soundtrack as well as on The Best of Lilith Fair album, marking her as an enduring voice in Canadian folk. Every other year, Dayna performs a 500-seat concert as part of the Stratford Festival Season—an anticipated highlight for her audiences.

Her artistry has earned recognition including the 2023 Forest City London Music Award for Ontario Independent Recording Artist of the Year and a nomination for Producer of the Year at the 2021 Canadian Folk Music Awards. The video for her song You You You won the 2021 FCLMA Video of the Year.
